about being held in a queue

For the last two days I have been trying to speak to a card services company. Yesterday I was on hold in a queue for 30 minutes before my phone cut me off. Today I have been on hold twice for the same length of time without success. Cannot believe such bad customer service. I wonder if they have any staff in at all. Worst of all is that I believe company actually makes money from these calls id people ring on 0871 number. Thankfully I used say no 2 0870

yup, that's crap. Probably skeleton staff atm.

Can you email them instead of calling?

No they do not accept emails. Had same problem with another company too. Driving me mad.

I think places must be running on minimal staff at the moment.

It is very annoying.

I called the DVLA wednesday to get a replacement logbook and got a message saying the lines were busy and then I got cut offXmas Shock No option to queue at all!!
