I stupidly didn't realise we were running low until the 21st and by then the cold weather had made a huge backlog and they said we wouldn't get any till the new year

well yesterday I started to panic and rang them again and they said that as we are out of fuel now that they would try to squeeze us in if they were doing someone near us anyway

well this morning, just now, they came and we have a full tank of fuel
I didn't realise how stressed I had been

I can breathe now

I know I know I shouldn't have posted here

I never have a good reason to post here....feel left out

Realised we were running low just before xmas too and was also told no deliveries until the new year.

We got ours on xmas eve and I think it was because I didn't give he lady a hard time about it and wished her merry christmas...I could also feel the relief in her voice...

That said it was quite a lesson in oil conservation. We camped in two rooms during the day and used the coal fire, also invested in electric blanket and wore extra layers.
