to give up trying to do the right thing with Amazon?

Items A and B (2CDs) arrived damaged, so I sent them back. B's replacement arrived but A's did not. I chased. They agreed to dispatch another A. Within 1/2 an hour I spotted online that they'd actually ordered item C (same name but DS game not CD). I phoned and told them. Item A now ordered again and C cancelled.

Had an e-mail saying that A's return has not been received (was in the same package as B). Now had an e-mail confirming that C has been dispatched!

Meanwhile ... 3 books did not arrive. Chased THREE times. Replacements eventually dispatched by Express delivery.

Then they sent a refund!

I have sent more than 12 e-mails to Amazon and had 3 phone calls of more than an hour each. Each time it was clear that they do NOT keep any record of the previous communications.

AIBU to say sd it and keep the extra and refunds? I* will donate to the local Scout Hut who are fundraising.

Amazon's loss.

Or do I try again to get Amazon to get it right?

I don't know, it's a tricky one. I might be inclined to email them and say that it's still not right and can they please call you. That would be an opportunity for them to correct the mistake.

you have obviously tried very hard to make them get this right ..

I woul just let it go..

Use the refund to buy whatever didn't make it.
