to sob when there's a birth on TV?

I've not had any children of my own yet but I can't help but sob uncontrollably when there's a birth on TV, I cried at Juno and now I'm crying at One Born at Christmas!!

I'm sure once I have had a child I'll squirm everytime there's a birth! Grin

On no. I do too! Every time!

I started to watch this last night, was sobbing within 5 minutes, when the little boy kissed his mum's tummy. Haven't managed to watch the rest yet, tis in the planning for when I am less of a hormonal wreck.

Yep me too. I have no children (or anyone to have them with) but have been feeling so broody lately. My biological alarm clock has gone off big time and I find myself weeping uncontrollably at TV births and news that friends are pregnant, etc.

It's actually pretty :(

I'm a hard-faced old hag who has delivered two babies ..... and I don't cry ever ...

But .... I do get lumps in my throat.

Harrumph.... that's all I will admit to!!

What was that advert with all the pregnant ladies from around the world who give birth?

There was a woman in New York who hails a cab to go to hospital, an Asian woman working in a rice field who gets taken to hospital on a scooter, an African woman who gets a little lad to walk with her, a Latin American who sits watching TV...

I can't remember what the ad was for, it was a totally non baby related company - maybe a credit card company or something? Anyway, I was always in floods of tears whenever I saw it!
