heathrow express terms and conditions for current offer fares say

Children must be accompanied by at least two adults.

what the hell is that about? i cant even think why they would do it. are single parents not supposed to go to the airport?

and - you don't even get this ticket any cheaper for children!

I can't even begin to fathom how that is reasonable. Unless we both are missing something, that's verging on discriminatory. Quite bizarre.

Thinking about it some more, are you sure that's not just the maximum amount of adults that are allowed on the offer? That would be entirely reasonable.

Must be similar to the "Children shouldn't sit next to males on our flights" policy.

very odd - they're not saying you can't travel unless there are 2 adults, but do say you can't take up the current £5 offer unless there are 2 adults travelling with the child.

although it won't let you book for 2 adults and 1 child with the booking form anyhow - say it's restricted to a minimum of 1 adult 0 children and a maximum of 9 adults 0 children.

Grrr, I was hoping to find a decent explanation for this when I got up this morning!
