I won't be here when the rubbish and recycling are collected next Wednesday. I hadn't put them up on display and had no plans to do so. So as I was putting the recycling out this evening ready for the morning, I chucked them in with the paper and cardboard. AIBU?

Ha ha ha ha. I feel neither here nor there about this, but it amuses me that the "complex" of this situation is clearly playing on your mind!

YANBU. I can't see the point of Xmas cards . I only send then to people who live overseas that I rarely see and am not bothered about receiving them.

I use christmas cards as a "decoration" - they are on a string going across the room and make the place look a bit christmassy. So I wouldn't chuck them before christmas.

However, if yours aren't on display, then it doesn't matter I suppose. Although there is something a bit funny about it, I can't really put my finger on what!
