What should I do? He was meant to come home from works do at around 3am. I woke just now and he isn't home. I texted him at 4.45 and he always replies - this time, nothing. Tried ringing his mobile twice and it just rings out. He's never been out so late, should I worry? Can't contact the other people with him as their numbers are in his phone.

Hope everything is ok and that you have heard from him. Should he be in the same town or is he in another town and stuck for transport?

I would try not to worry. Send him a txt saying you are worried and that he needs to contact you asap.

Sorry... There is little you can do but wait at this stage.

Try to relax. Is there snow near you? Chances are the buses aren't running/he can't get a taxi due to the weather/high demand since a lot of companies seem to be having their parties tonight.

There's always the possibility he's lost/misplaced his phone or is too drunk to hear it alert him. Not a great thought but one to bear in mind.

Try to sleep if you can. YANBU to be worried about him but there isn't anything you can do right now but keep trying to contact him.

Let us know if/when he turns up!

He's probably just out enjoying himself. I know what's it's like, it;s normal to fear the worst, but I am sure that he is just pissed and having fun.

Thanks for replying guys. His phone isn't off, my typo, it's just ringing out and has been since 4.45. No snow here but town will be busy for taxis. I'm hoping he fell asleep at a friend's house. We're in the city, he would have been about five miles away from home all night.

I hope he's pissed and having a fabulous time. I'm not fussed about the time, other than worrying about his safety. It's so unlike him.

HE'S FINE!

Called to say they bumped into another friend who lives in the city centre and went to their place to get out of the terrible weather. Phew! I'm such a worrier. I think on the phone I probably sounded Angry when really I was feeling so wibbly! Horrible time of night to worry about loved ones, I'm all exhausted and disoriented. Thanks for sitting up with me!
