YABU but glad somebody is having a good time, am stuck in with DS1 aged 20 who came back from uni last night and is already driving everyone crazy and now can't get out to his friend's party tonight. DD 18 had her boyfriend to stay and now he can't go home, though it is only me that is fed up having another teen stuck with me. DS2 13 is happy and has gone to play in the local park and will come back with lots of dripping clothes to be washed and dried. We are supposed to be going away for Christmas and are now unsure whether the snow will clear in time for the roads to be passable so I am

Sorry Evanstar, I do feel your pain. Not knowing about trips away would piss me off big time (along with cancelled Christmas parties Giddy).
We made it one last night but it wasn't too far away so no need for it to be cancelled, although it did take us 2 hours to walk home - would have been a 15 min cab ride if we could have found one.

It's not snowy here yet but the gods of snow are supposed to dump all over us later on today (sky has gone from a bit cloudy to a sheet of white).
I love the snow, though we are going to a Christmas party tonight!
