And take them to see the sleeping Santa in my local garden centre.

Ita brilliant lifelike model and even breathes its covered with letters to Santa written by children

My own DS is grown up now so I have no-one to share the magic with.

I shall get out all my DS old letters to Santa and have a good cry.

LOl You have to take my 3 yro as he insists Santa is the Postman Xmas Grin
He would require hot chocolate and marshmallows but he is free of charge and loves cuddles

HollyTwat · 14/12/2010 00:08

Have mine
They'd love it
Tomorrow ok?

LadyBiscuit · 14/12/2010 00:09

I'll post you mine, special delivery. He is very low maintenance and you can keep him for 48 hours if you like :o

SE13Mummy · 14/12/2010 00:19

How small? I have 22 8-year-olds that could be available at short notice... for the rest of the week.

kreecherlivesupstairs · 14/12/2010 07:52

What a peculiar idea. Sleeping Santa. Surely American?

FlamingoBingo · 14/12/2010 07:55

I have four that I could do with a break from would love something like this. Where shall I send them?

mamasmissionimpossible · 14/12/2010 08:18

a 5 and a 2 year old here. Take your pick Grin

colditz · 14/12/2010 08:29

Please take my 4 year old. He scornfully told me on Saturday that Christmas presents don't come from Santa, they come from Africa (stupid mummy)

ilovemyfestivehens · 14/12/2010 10:19

You can have my 12 year old if you like Grin

sethstarkaddersmum · 14/12/2010 10:23

the person in my family who would get the most out of this is my Japanese SIL. She's 35 but I think she would appreciate it. Shall I get her flown out to you?

Luce2006 · 14/12/2010 10:25

would a 4 year old do? all yours!

taintedsnow · 14/12/2010 10:25

Ooh am I too late for the small child tombola? I've got a four-year-old, you're welcome to him for the day! Xmas Grin

Restrainedrabbit · 14/12/2010 10:26

Haver mine, I've got 3 and need to catch up with the housework Grin

Islandlady · 14/12/2010 14:16

Thanks for all the offers of small children
and even SILs.

I have a feeling that if I did get hold of a snuggly cuddly little person I would not want to give him/her back and I am sure you would all miss yours.

I've a better idea.

Come to Lapland with me on Saturday and see the real guy!!

DS, 6, says he doesn't want to go (hates new places), as he likes it here and he'll see Santa at Haskins when he's there. Hmm.

We could leave DS asleep with Santa and go!!

BaronessBomburst · 14/12/2010 15:02

I've got a 10 month old - he can say tree and daddy and can feed himself (BLW). Eats anything except green beans. Don't need him back until I've had a good night's sleep and a pedicure. Xmas Grin

Islandlady · 14/12/2010 17:16

Oh dont tempt me mumbar - good job I am working or I might have taken you up on it

DancingThroughLife · 14/12/2010 17:19

Can you take me? Xmas Blush Xmas Grin

mollymax · 14/12/2010 17:27

This is a case of " adopt a granny"
You sound like a lovely person, I wonder if there is a mum close to you who needs a break.

SE13Mummy · 14/12/2010 20:57

I can confirm that the parents of 15 of my 22 offered children are happy for the loan to become semi-permanent; the caretaker had locked the classroom with the coats in during tonight's concert and far too many parents suggested I keep their children until at least January!

Islandlady · 14/12/2010 23:05

Thank you for all your offers I am going with one of the ladies who I work with at the RSPCA she is borrowing her 3 yo grand daughter who hasnt been yet to see the sleeping santa so I will see her put her letter in the box.

They not only have a santa but breathing and moving polar bears and penguins plus a moving breathing nativity scene it is really very magical

Plus all money put in the donation boxes go to the local childrens hospice.
