Oh God yes I agree

classydiva · 13/12/2010 21:35

Id expect to see a granny in it.

overmydeadbody · 13/12/2010 21:35

grannies and invalids would be fine wearing them though.

emsyj · 13/12/2010 21:35

They are vile, yes, but I sort of want one....

faverolles · 13/12/2010 21:37

Yes, you are right. Vile.
adds to Christmas list

NurseGladys · 13/12/2010 21:37

oh ffs, I just spotted these at the bottom of the page, am picturing camel hoofs a go-go with these, and where would you wear one? A fetish party?

QuickLookBusySanta · 13/12/2010 21:37

Ewwwww wouldnt want to look at my DH in one of them!

But I bet they're blooming warmXmas Grin

TequilaMockinBird · 13/12/2010 21:38

You can make your own slanket anyway - just wear your dressing gown back to front Grin

Curlybrunette · 13/12/2010 21:38

Ha! My auntie is a QVC freak and she bought about 6 for various members of my family last Xmas. In a wide variety of colours to try and match their sofa's...

I wasn't one of the lucky ones to get one, and tho I may scoff, when at my mum's I do sometimes snuggle under her's (auntie bought both mum and dad one!) and they are amazingly warm.

Erm, a bit old lady-ish but I wouldn't call them vile so yes I think you're being a bit unreasonable

HollyBollyBooBoo · 13/12/2010 21:39

Aswell as being vile aren't they totally impractical? They look so long that you'd be tripping over them.

NurseGladys · 13/12/2010 21:40

Now, if they had them in a fetching tartan, that might not be so bad....

I meant the blanket, not the fetish party attire. My DD[16] has just said those are very "in" and some of her friends at college have them! Hmm

NurseGladys · 13/12/2010 21:41

I like the picture showing someone meditating in a Slanket, am wondering what else (apart from spiritual enlightenment) can be achieved in a slanket Hmm

My mom bought me one last Xmas, still haven't forgiven her.

It got cut up and it is now used as liners for my boys' cloth nappies. Xmas Grin

mistletoeploppy · 13/12/2010 21:42

I like mine Xmas Blush

It's a double one - two sets of sleeves so dh and I can both get in Xmas Grin

Coffeebeans · 13/12/2010 21:45

have you seen the tv ad? The whole family are cheerfully wearing them. Just makes me wonder if they forgot to pay the heating!

mistletoeploppy · 13/12/2010 21:50
