School Photographs

The photographers who our school uses (TSPC - a big national one) has simply lost at last 4 sets of childrens' photographs. I am so disappointed (yes, even thought school photos are never that great, and a rip off - but I love the retro-ness of them and they remind me of when I was young). The company took weeks to respond when we and the school first notified them of the loss, even with pushing, and hasn't offered to do anything about it (i.e. like coming back to take photos of the missing kids). Their 'customer service' team seem to simply shrug their shoulders - the first woman I spoke to didn't even apologise. This is the time of year I usually send the photos out to far flung relatives - but not now. The school is quite happy to change the company they use, as they say they've had several problems with them, but I want my photos! Grrrrr Angry

You would think that a large company would make a goodwill gesture of some kind.
Would the school cancel the contract and go with someone else if there was pressure from enough parents?
I would tell the company to take more photos or offer a voucher so you can get them down yourself.

You can always get some done yourself privately.

After some parents and the school complained, and two months later, they've agreed to come back (and nicely this time, not the grumpiness I got before). Thanks for the earlier comments - little victories.
