YANBU. Does anyone remember the advert of the andrex puppy and the duck that used to come out at Christmas? Now that advert was great would make me feel proper christmassy.

Maybe sales of air freshener did actually go up after the "poo at Paul's" advert and they think kids are a secret market for bathroom accoutrements.

I quite liked the poo at Paul advert - seeing a child using the air freshener on a voluntary basis gave me hope

maisie! I don't know what to say! DS and I have a mantra we chant every time an air freshner advert comes on which is "open the window!"

Ahh, but there are 2 issues with that here in our house - 1. the key to the window in one of our loos is missing, so spraying is essential, and 2. an open window take a while to clear the eau de poo. A short blast of the air freshener (and a squirt of bleach if it's particularly noxious) prior to an open window please!

I don't use 'house' air freshners as I agree - open the blardy windows! But need a bathroom one as it doesn't have a window and is in the middle of the house so we can't put one in.

Ah, well, in cases of bathrooms without window, I am wholly amenable to air freshners.....
