Oooh, tricky question. Can only say that regressive taxes (VAT etc) hit the poorest disproportionately so I am vvv much against VAT at 20%. But, we have a business and, whilst I can see the point some make about increasing taxes on profits, we pay loads of tax! Taxing the rich more...wouldn't they just pay accountants to avoid it anyway?
