to be incredibly proud of the cards DS2 has written for his class mates?

He's way behind target for in most areas in school. Especially writing which is almost illegible. But he sat down last night and wrote out cards for all his school friends. He did it himself with no prompting or help.

Admittedly the writing is a little difficult to read and the spelling is.... creative, but I could have wept seeing him sitting there trying so hard.

DS1 who could write perfectly at that age wouldn't have done it so enthusistically or independently.

I am full of admiration! DS1 is in reception and I just know it's going to be a massive struggle to get him to even sign his name a few times!

That is so sweet what does it matter about the spelling at least he did his best. You must be so proud of him.

Thanks.

Might add that he's a total PITA quite a lot of the time too Wink
