BooBooGlass · 09/12/2010 10:32

No no no. I have the very recent memory of shocking food poisoning at the weekend. It's not worth it, trust me

BellsaRinging · 09/12/2010 10:37

Unreasonable, no. Unwise, yes.

woolymindy · 09/12/2010 10:38

You see I would for sure - even better 2nd time round as long as it is not rice i think it is fine.... enjoy!

PureAsTheDrivenShow · 09/12/2010 10:39

No. Chinese food v bad for food poisoning when reheated. Next day I'd say yes if v well reheated. 3 days later, noooooooo. Just buy more tonight. Grin

Yay. I so would, and have. How will you get a strong stomach if you don't train it? Xmas Grin

You have left over chinese thats lasted 3 days?? On the rare occasion we have left overs i usually eat it for breakfast the next day Grin not sure id risk it after 3 days though, i suppose if it smells ok then it should be fine!

monkeyfacegrace · 09/12/2010 10:54

I did have it for breakfast the next day! A whole plateful!

But this little bad boy hid at the back. Grrr.

Woolly - the op may end up seeing the chinese not only a 2nd time round, but a 3rd and 4th time as well.

Don't take a chance OP. Put it in the bin.

clairefromsteps · 09/12/2010 11:29

Gah, don't chance it! Rice and noodles are shocking for the number of germs they hoard as leftovers (something to do with the total surface area being very high - more room for bugs to breed on).

Shame though, esp if the takeaway was yummy...

Alouiseg · 09/12/2010 11:32

I think if it's reheated to over 72 degrees you should be ok. Depends if it's been reheated before though!

marantha · 09/12/2010 12:01

As long as you put it straight into fridge when cool, and reheat it thoroughly, it's should be perfectly safe. It's only been in there 3 days!
