To send my 6 year old to school today?

She got a flu-like virus on Sat. She was quite poorly on Sunday and had the shivers and a sore throat etc. I kept her off school on Monday and she was quite a lt better by
the evening.

Today she i perky-ish but says her throat hurts.

I am a SAHM so it's not much bother for me .BUT....her play is on Thursday and I tink she needs to get in for rehearsals...he has quite a big role and lots to say....he has had Neurofen.

So...blocked nose and sore throat...will she be ok?

IIWY, I would keep my DD off until her sore throat has gone.
Can she practice her lines at home?

what does dd say? It does sound like she isnt quite right still?

I have a similar quandry with my dd, she got sent home from school yesetrday with slight temperature, coughing etc. This morning she is begging to go to school and does look much better. Am worried they will think I am a crap parent if I send her in and she goes downhill by lunch time. But, she is distraught at the thought of not going in to school ... and does seem fine after a very good ngihts sleep.

She is unwell clearly. Keep her at home. You can always practice her lines with her.

Talk to school.

It's hard to tell with a child that age, but I always say to mine, are you ill enough to be in bed or can you soldier on? They nearly always soldier on!

Difficult. My 4yo is going to miss his nativity due to illness this week. At home, he is prancing around fighting with his sister but at school it would be a different matter I think.

I took her...I didn't get a chance to read your opinions because my 2 year old had a minor freak-out and I got pulled away.

Her school is quite strict. Feel guilty now!
