Genuine question.

I don't 'do' facebook, just doesn't appeal, have just found out that a friend has put pics of mine and her children up on her account, (don't know what it's called) in some of them they are in the bath.

I don't really want my children on facebook.

AIBU to ask her to take them off?

No, YANBU.

I wouldn't dream of posting pics of someone else's children on FB without permission, let alone if they're in the bath. I would be quite cross at that tbh.

No, that's really rude and intrusive. Ask her to take them off (are they definitely on, though?).
