Ok, am 7mths pregnant. Had terrible night last night wide awake from 2amish, am like a zombie. And so I can't actually THINK or make a decision so need wise people of MN to tell me what is normal/reasonable.

It's not snowy here. Just cold and frosty (and icy).

Was planning to go to library with the dc for rhyme time at 10.30 then on to drop dd at nursery (12-3). Is about 10-20 minutes walk. Have good boots and will hold buggy. But would have dd (4) walking and ds (2) in buggy. We didn't really go out all weekend so conscious they 'need' to go out - though they are happy drawing at the moment.

Dd has cold, and is snotty and coughing, a bit wobbly. Ditto ds. Though both are generally fine as I said.

Help! i genuinely can't decide what to do! Thanks

If they are fine for nursery take them! I always think just to get out of the house, even for a walk helps breaks the cycle of feeling couped up!

If I were you I'd forget the library and rhyme time and just drop dd at nursery then go home again and chill!

I'd remain home if I were you. It's not fair to make a 4 year old with a cold, walk for 20 minutes.

You can always take them out for a bit of fresh air later if they become fed up with staying in, but trailing to nursery doesn't sound reasonable when you're all feeling poorly and tired.

Def not going to library. But I think I will take dd to nursery later (is less than 10 minutes walk if we don't do library too)... though will see how she is in an hour.

Can never decide if she is fine for nursery - she is ok but v wobbly and snotty and cough-y and bad throaty. But then she'd be off for the next 3 months if I kept her off for every cold...

When you say she's wobbly, it tends to make me think that she's possibly worse than she appears. When I feel wobbly with a virus I just want to sit on the sofa napping and watching tv. She doesn't sound very well at all to me. You don't want her to end up with a nasty chest infection.

We were just snuggling on sofa and noticed she is running a slight temperature. She sounds very bunged up too. Adn you're right, personality change (she is noramlly a v laid-back esygoing thing) is her biggest indicator that something is up...

She's not often ill, tbh. Just so happens she had a week off two weeks ago...
