Um - it is, in the UK anyway for businesses

MumInBeds · 05/12/2010 20:10

It is in business but I reserve the right to occasionally use chocolate buttons with my children!

FunnysInTheGarden · 05/12/2010 20:14

Is it though? Under what area of law? and what statute? I always thought that bribery was down to the individual organisation to deal with.

it is illegal, I think. here

FunnysInTheGarden · 05/12/2010 20:44

ah so maybe it is. How come the FIFA officials get away with it. Assume it is because they are in a juresdiction where it is not illegal?

Um, yes, YABU to want bribery to be made illegal - how else will I get DD to tidy her bedroom if not for telling her she won't get any pocket money if she leaves it messy. Xmas Grin

(I know that's not what you meant!)
