Gabby. Are you ok? Honestly, you don't seem yourself today.

harecare · 04/12/2010 13:57

I just had to read all of this to see if eventually it made sense. Absolutely none.

booyhohoho · 04/12/2010 14:02

i think it's a coded message. she's sending signals back to the moon. you know that moon she is wired up to?

In todays paper, I read an interesting article about a labourer who took a horse tranquiliser. He then could not remember why he had ended up in a police cell.

My response to that would be: "get off the equine pills matey".

I used to go to court often [to watch the court cases in progress]. Do any of you ever go to court? It is slow but interesting. I was not over impressed.

Are there any JPs [justices of the peace] or coppers on mumsnet?

tallwivglasses · 04/12/2010 16:01

Thanks for the translation AnyFule.

Now that's how I would expect a writer to write.

pagwatch · 04/12/2010 16:06

I thought
"apolice ce ll". was a particularly nice Italian wine.

Thanks for translation.
Can we get a gabby/world world/ gabby dictionary going.

bullet234 · 04/12/2010 16:09

Is this a translation?:

"In the paper there was an article about a man who had taken some horse tranquilisers and taken to the police station, where he could not remember how he got there.
Am I being unreasonable to think if he hadn't taken the above horse tranquilisers his memory would not have been impaired.
By the way, I used to attend court sessions quite a lot and I always found them slow but interesting, so I wasn't overly impressed. Have any of you lot attended a lot of court sessions?"

bullet234 · 04/12/2010 16:10

Sorry Anyfulesno, I missed your post.

HecTheHallsWithBoughsOfHolly · 04/12/2010 16:17

Am I being unreasonable - about? a court report?

people taking drugs?

newspapers?

You do realise that AIBU is about asking the question - Am I Being Unreasonable -

Am I Being Unreasonable to not understand what it is you are asking if you are being unreasonable about.

You see? Easy peasy.

yes yes, free to post wherever we like yadda yadda.

But it makes no sense.

It's like posting about shoes in the breastfeeding section.

Or posting about potty training in the chicken keepers section.

toddlerama · 04/12/2010 16:19

Gabby, are you Katie Price?

booyhohoho · 04/12/2010 16:21

Grin @ toddlerama.

Anniegetyourgun · 04/12/2010 16:21

ps Does anyone here even have a prostate?

AnyFuleSno · 04/12/2010 16:41

I think Gabby is a man in his 50s, judging by the way he is always going on about lady presenters, c.f. 'Luxury Logan', his special nickname for Gabby Logan Hmm

Snorbs · 04/12/2010 16:49

Does anyone else suspect that Gabby writes these messages by just smashing his/her face into the keyboard?

Blatherskite · 04/12/2010 16:51

Ah Gabby's back

Thank you all, this thread has cheered me right up! Xmas Grin
PMSL at Snorbs, I reckon Gabby must have at least the full stop stuck to her/his forehead by now!

tethersjinglebellend · 04/12/2010 19:44

Gabby, you have excelled yourself here. Well done. Pour yourself a little something to celebrate. Perhaps some lithium?

Blatherskite · 04/12/2010 19:45

Maybe s/he types out a message then removes every 3rd word, every 10th letter and 80% of the full stops?

Oh goodness! I've only just deciphered the title! I just couldn't see it! lol!
