It was the first day of the snow here, and my food was due between 3 and 4.
The driver phoned at 2.50 to say that he would probably be late.
Customer services phoned me at 7 to say he was still on his way. He finally arrived at 9pm, having taken SIX hours to get to us from the depot! (we were his first delivery). We thanked him profusely, and offered him a hot drink, but he couldn't stop because ........................................................ He had to do the REST of his deliveries!
I am just stunned, we have two young children and this has prevented me from having to navigate through the snow, on foot with two kids, as DH had to abandon the car due to snow and the double buggy was in the boot!
