It was sheer hell on any thread that mentioned benefits for several weeks. I assumed this would also turn into the same anti scroungers lovefest

I gave up after this bit:

I believe that the stats showed that actually yes people do tend to have as many children as they want to even before housing benefit etc was brought in. Maybe it's something to do with wanting a family rather than wanting the perfect family with every latest gadget and toy and perfect brand new clothes all the time etc.
