I have an elderly hairdryer which can only be switched on at the mains since I trod on it last summer and broke the on/off switch . This morning it refused to work at all. I swore a bit and DH (half-asleep) said 'Oh well that'll be handy for christmas then'. Later I mentioned I'd be getting a new one in my lunch hour and he said 'but it's nearly christmas'.
Just because he shaves his head is no excuse for being stupid! I have hair that channels Wurzel Gummidge!
Wait til christmas is what you say to children from November onwards when they ask for something.
