When the new Tesco Xmas ads are on with Amanda thingybob in?

It isnt the ads themselves, although goodness knows they are irritating, but the way that she and the other woman call each other "Sis"

I LOATHE this! I dont know anyone IRL who refers to their sister as Sis (except as Dsis obv lol). I dont say "Oh Hi Sis!" when mine rings me!

Just really pisses me off.

YANBU - I haven't seen the ad but all previous ones have annoyed me so I'm sure this one will too.

YANBU. They're just...ungh.

I call my sister by her nickname, my brother by his. I even find birthday cards which say "Sister, bla bla bla" really farking annoying and fake.

All this faux family that the supermarkest seem to think we need is ridiculous. Nobody shops at Tesco because they think it's a lovely happy family kind of shop. They shop there because it's either their only supermarket or because it's cheaper than the others. I don't hugely liek the Sainsbury's false family ads either.

Just tell us what we need to know - you have food, it's affordable. Anything else just descends into annoying patronising gibberish.
