Ditto 'you nailed it' and 'you killed it'.

It gets right on my tits.

Stop it.

And everyone in LIFE stop using that saying as well. Yes that means you BIL when you talk about Dniece 'she smashed it as the narrator in the nativity play'

Has a more annoying phrase ever been uttered in the history of life?

You watch X factor? You can probably expect to get annoyed by more cliched phrases than those [grins]

scogliera · 29/11/2010 14:21

YABU.

If you insist on watching programmes designed to appeal to society's lowest common denominator, you have to be prepared to hear stupid, semi-literate cliches.

And what about "getting your swag on" - what the hell is that all about?

GetOrfMoiLand · 29/11/2010 14:21

Oh I know.

I set myself up to be annoyed.

But some on, there is enough going on with Louis Walsh's insane hair colouring exploits and Cher's ugly sneer without Simon/Chezza/Dannii saying that fat Mary 'smashed it' whilst singing another blardy Shirley Bassey dirge.

My pet hate is the "wow factor" always used on home programmes.

coatgate · 29/11/2010 14:22

YABU to

a) Watch X Factor
b) Eat Fray bentos pies

Oh no I DON'T eat Fray bentos pies. I may be working class but I am not a complete tasteless chav.

Just seems like a perfectly shaped missile to launch, discuss stylee, towards Cheryl Cole's dozy head.

Oh yes, 'you made it your own'.

Re Mary singing the Beatles.

Hmm, yes, chinny reckon.
