Eldest daughters school is closed today due to snow. DH has a long-booked day off to spend with me. Since we found out about the school last night, he's been in a complete arse as he had planned that we'd spend the afternoon in bed together...
Yeah, disappointing, but hardly the end of the world. Daughter is a teen, she'll spend most of the day in bed I'm sure, anyway :o leaving us to do what we want (her room at far end of house).

Send her out to make a snowman and lock the door after her
:o

Aaaagh. Pesky strikeouts!

Plumm · 29/11/2010 07:08

Tell her what you'd planned - she'll be too embarrassed/disgusted to come anywhere near you.

Shock your husband booked a day off work for some bedroom action? Bloody hell.

OnlyWantsOne · 29/11/2010 08:27

surely... ha (dont call me shirley) all her pals will all want to go out and play together in the snow any way and you guys can sort out your stamp collection in private?

Saltatrix · 29/11/2010 08:31

She's a teen maybe she will go to a friends house?

fayc84 · 29/11/2010 08:52

Haha, I second Plumm's suggestion! Grin

diddl · 29/11/2010 08:56

Well if this afternoon doesn´t happen, you´ll both be rested enough for tonight instead.

So, gets your company all day plus sex tonight-win winGrin

But seriously, he´s in a strop?

Bloody hell, that´s a bit childish, isn´t it?

Or do you only ever have sex when he books time off work?

MissileToe · 29/11/2010 10:54

Ha he is not in a strop now really, he was a tad grouchy last night, I pointed out the immaturity of his reaction and disrepectfulness (huh?) of the fact he expected me to perform bedroom antics on his day off :o

All slightly tongue in cheek tho, with a teen and V small offspring, we are often interrupted or too feckin knackered to get jiggy, so his days off are a welcome return to normal activities, aided by a couple of glasses in the pub at lunchtime.

HOWEVER, we have plans afoot for later, and are having a lovely day of peace, as expect, the teen hasn't yet surfaced and will no doubt go out with her DP later anyway :)
