Ive become involved with a few volunatry services mainly for new mums, some high risk others offering breastfeeding support.
I very well may be getting cynical but I sometimes get the feeling is all too wishy washy, we have no real authority to do anything, the quality of some of the volunteers leaves a lot to be desired.
W obviously need more money, but I dont know,
What do you think?
I dont think we can keep expecting good work from volunteers doing it for free
