What is it all based on?

You've come this far - it can't beat you now! The beast is down and almost out - just needs a swift kick to finish him off :o

MaDuggar · 26/11/2010 09:47

Im not clever or witty enough, so yes YABU sorry :)

TheLogLady · 26/11/2010 09:47

I care, but can barely remember my own name this morning! Read other thread, thought 'hmmmmm...' which morphed into 'fuck me, if I don't have more coffee I will be on the floor' which then became 'why oh why oh why doesn't my mum live nearer I CAN'T COPE TODAY!!!!!'

None of which are an effective title for your study.

Sorry....

Goingspare · 26/11/2010 09:52

Don't rip it up, don't worry about the title, you're not trying to get it in the Christmas bestsellers' list. It's the last day, dig in, get shot of it, have a fantastic evening once you're free of it.

You're nearly there.

TheLogLady · 26/11/2010 09:54

gin - i'm on my 6th cup.

OP posts:
TheLogLady · 26/11/2010 09:55

of coffee not gin

OP posts:
Goingspare · 26/11/2010 09:56

'why oh why oh why doesn't my mum live nearer I CAN'T COPE TODAY!!!!!'

That might be quite a good title for it actually.

TheLogLady · 26/11/2010 09:56
Grin
OP posts:
ginhag · 26/11/2010 09:59

Maybe gin is the answer? :) (the drink, not me)

I have only had one (very strong) coffee but as I'm pregnant I prob should stop there. Probably.

I second that you don't need to stress too much about the title (please don't hit me, I really am fragile today) as that is not going to make or break the whole thing. A simple title along the lines of the first one you were given on the other thread should cut it...

Then you can get it done and dusted...and break out the tequila Grin

Goingspare · 26/11/2010 10:01

Off you go, LogLady.

TheLogLady · 26/11/2010 10:03

Unrulysun · 26/11/2010 10:04

You're looking for something a bit irreverent but with a serious subtitle yes?

Something like 'Young, dumb and living off mum - an examination of misconceptions concerning young mothers'? Am I on the right track?

What about finding some egregious Daily Mail quote for the first bit?

Unrulysun · 26/11/2010 10:05

Ahhhh too late!

Goingspare · 26/11/2010 10:12

Bet she's still peeking (oh, I was going too).

TheLogLady · 26/11/2010 10:17

might be Grin

i have moved a paragraph and deleted 6 words.

OP posts:
TheCrackFox · 26/11/2010 10:25

I'm far too thick to help but wanted to wish you good luck with. Smile

Unrulysun · 26/11/2010 10:25

Are we still looking for a title or has the gin kicked in? :)

memoo · 26/11/2010 10:28

And throwing a little MN paddy is going to help? Wink

Quenelle · 26/11/2010 10:54

I like where Unrulysun's going with it. Or you could try something a little bit BBC3 like "F* Off I'm Young and Pregnant".

Alternatively, if you haven't got the strength left to do something clever, stick to simple, "Young Women, Pregnancy and Maternity Services" sounds perfect.

Good luck.

ginhag · 26/11/2010 11:24

I now have 'we are now both dressed but there is no way we are leaving the house today ' to add.

If only I was an actual young mother this could all be Very Relevant. As it stands, it is of no use at all except to prove that various people who are too crap unable to contribute still care!!!

ginhag · 26/11/2010 11:26

BTW I think the simple titles work fine too. There seemed to be a few on the other thread that appeared to my addled mind to cover what you were trying to get across
