Its not that I mind not having a drink as I am pg, although I will admit to lusting after a glass of wine occasionally, but I resent that my drinks end up costing more than DH's premium lager!

I cant drink coke as it doesnt agree with me and OJ is so expensive for a teeny wee bottle, ask for it to be topped up with lemonade and you need a frigging mortgage! At out local it costs the same for a half pint of OJ and lemonade as for a pint of Stella. It was more in our favourite swanky wine bar so needless to say that is off limits until after the baby is born!

FFS is it outrageous to not want to spend more for not drinking than I do when I am drinking?

Have you tried lime & soda? Depending on the pub it can be dirt cheap - just 20p or so for the dash of cordial (mind you a lot of places have cottoned on and made it more expensive now Hmm)

Thanks Lemur, I have but my taste buds seem to have gone funny! After a couple they are in overdrive, as if I have been sucking a lemon :o

Ah well, atleast I will have an excuse to go back on the booze after the baby is born as it will be cheaper! lol
