Today i witnessed a woman pull a tissue out of a "biffa" bin and blow her nose on it.

I was nearly sick, was i BU, not to scream "eeeeeew!" at her in my loudest voice?

The only reason i didnt was for fear of actually throwing up on her

You know those big industrial size bins that shops have. They often have Biffa written on them.

Better that than her coat sleeve....

Or holding one nostril and blowing the snot outa the other..

How did she know it was in there? Was she rummaging around in there? How very odd!

She must have been pretty desperate for a nose-blow and been caught short, that's all I can say.

I mean, no. 11's is disgusting enough on the DC's, but on an adult it would be just DREADFUL, wouldn't it?

I still don't understand what she was doing in there anyway to find a tissue! Sorry I am finding that odd enough in itself.

Talking about DC's I once caught my 4 yo wiping his nose on a friend's very posh new curtains - I could have died. thankfully everyone else was in the garden so no-one saw

Maybe she had just put her half one used in and needed to use it again?

My friend is a vet and can do that 'holding one nostril and blowing the snot outa the other' thing incredibly cleanly and well - when she is out in the fields lambing or whatever.

I don't know whether to be horrified or impressed

Vile BUT I suppose I'd rather she took a tissue out of the bin than stood behind me in a queue sniffing for ten minutes. She must have been desperate.

No she didnt put it there she walked over towards the bin (and back entrance to the shop) And her friend walked away from her into the shop, She reached in and i was thinking HUH? Then i seen her take the tissue (loads in there covered in tomato sauce, i hope at least) and blow her nose on it.

I would rather cuff it! Gross gross gross!

Personally i have never experienced the dreaded 11's as an adult!
