IOW Festival

DD, aged 22 has asked me to go with her and her friends to IOW Festival next year.
I'm thrilled to be asked and have asked over and over if she REALLY means it.
AIBU to ask my/a friend to come aswell as i think i'd feel like an old fart to go with them (DDs friends)on my own.
If said friend can't make it.....should i go,on my own?
