Delivery woes...

I ordered a large order (almost £100) of perishables (biltong, chocolate etc), on Monday. On wed I received an email saying it had been despatched by recorded delivery and someone should be in to sign for it (but not when).
I stayed in all day Thur, nothing. Had to work Fri and in almost all Sat. Nothing. No delivery, no card saying they had missed me.

So I email the company on Sat eve, and get a reply, saying they have no idea where it could be, and maybe I should pop into my local post office to see if its there Hmm (how on earth whithout a number or tracker or anything)!

Am really cross that (a) me and DD1 were looking forward to eating some of it sat night and (b) there is a £100 worth of my stuff that really needs to be taken out of its packaging and stored properly sitting somewhere!, and (c) I dont think theire email reply was in any way satisfactory.

YANBU - If they saidit would be delivered on a particular day and you have not received it then you have every right to cancel your order and the seller can make a claim with Royal Mail to get the money back (if they got proof of delivery).
Hope you either et items soon or a refund.
Who was the seller?
