Fridge-freezer. Bought it yesterday. It can only come on weekend or a Monday as there is no-one here otherwise. So we paid for it to be delivered today. Last night DH got a text with a ref number which would tell us when the delivery would be made. Hurray, we thought, we will be able to do stuff either side of the delivery time. We looked it up on their website. 'Your delivery will be made between 12:00 and 18:00'
.
So DH has taken the children out and I've stayed in which is a bit of a bugger. Now just wondering, what the hell sort of hold-up would mean they could be up to 6 hours late? It's not really a 'schedule' is it? A schedule would dictate when they are delivering what where - which would enable them to give their customers a reasonable idea of when the thing would arrive?
Oh go on tell me that all your DPs, friends or family are delivery drivers and I'm being an arsey cow....
