I am so totally and utterly in love! Even the fact that my team got beat by poor mans team of North London, doesn't matter to me now, they are just amazing!

I nearly knocked on next door, just to show her! Grin

Here they are. I know, lots of money, but I won't buy anymore for a couple of years at least and frankly, I'm worth it! Grin

They're not nearly that dark brown. Much, much lighter.

Those are bloody gorgeous boots. A bit Elizabethan serving-wench, but in a good way. I really like them.

fatoftheland · 20/11/2010 18:53

They are lovely!

I have been eyeing up a pair for the same price in there today. Have given myself tonight to think about it then I may get them tomorrow!

They are a lot of money but they last for a couple of years so totally worth it and they are really comfy.

(go on, knock. You know you really want to!)

ItalianLady · 20/11/2010 18:53

Actually £85 for knee high boots is pretty reasonable. They are very nice.

5DollarShake · 20/11/2010 18:54

They are gorgeous!! And I would say bargainous at £85!!

SuePurblybiltByElves · 20/11/2010 18:55

They are not my style but I get your vibe Grin I have a pair that I watched reduce in price and eventually spent £50 on (madness for me) and love them so much that two years later I have had re-soled them twice, wear them all the time and still get comments on their loveliness.
Enjoy your fabulous boots Smile

BendyBob · 20/11/2010 18:59

They are lovely! Do they have a side zip? I can't tell from the piccy.

MaureenMLove · 20/11/2010 19:00

I bought them on the knock, but because I get paid 2 weeks apart from DH, I'll pay them off in the same month!

I haven't actually told him that bit yet, but hey, he's away for the weekend! He's left me and he wasn't here in my moment of need, when Arsenal lost, so a small price to pay I feel! Grin

I love a good pair of brown boots - and those ones are definitely worth the love.

Enjoy them - you're making me very jealous!

Bumperlicious · 20/11/2010 19:02

Love them!

MaureenMLove · 20/11/2010 19:02

They've got a zippy bit, just at the ankle to get them on.

I really like them. Next have some very nice boots this year. I had my eye on a flat pair of girls boots but they sold out Sad

SuePurblybiltByElves · 20/11/2010 19:07

Blimey, apologies for "have had resoled them". Not even English.

MaureenMLove · 20/11/2010 19:08

I find Next shoes and boots really comfy.

They're not really comfy tonight though, but that could be because I have stood in Sainsburys, bag packing for 8 hours today!

They're lovely....they remind me of my Grandma's 1920s boots with hook and eyes up the front.Grin
Seriously,i really wanted her boots in the 70s when i saw my Mum's photos.
Only difference is the heels,Grandmas were higherlower.Smile

Pan · 20/11/2010 19:37

nice boots. Women always look good in boots - one of the few benefits of winter time!

Shame about the Arsenal throwing away a two goal advantage at home. Focus and determination - why Utd will win the league again and Arsenal will fade into 'also rans'. Again.Grin

Kbear · 20/11/2010 19:39

I shall look forward to it. I am taking the Brownies to the theatre in the afternoon (oh joy) so 11 is perfick. I shall bake chocolates brownies in readiness (can you see a theme here?).

MaureenMLove · 20/11/2010 19:44

Ah Pan - my fellow Gooner I believe. The good old days are struggling to shine through, eh?

I'm liking the brownie link Kbear. I will be there at 11 on-the-dot! I don't like being late! Wink

I'm meeting SIL at 2.10, so if I get there at 4pm, I'll still be early!! Grin

Right, I'm off to test drive the boots! Seeya!
