mercibien - oh dear. She'll be home soon. Just get a cast of thousands to greet her! I adore meeting/being met by friends and family at airports. It's a big part of being away in the first place!

Kate Thornton did a programme on Sky last year called Hello Goodbye which was filmed at Heathrow Arrivals/Departures. I cried solidly at every episode!!

The ones that stood out for me were the ill children coming home from Lapland, the fiancee waiting for her man to come back from skiing (he had lost limbs in Afghanistan) and the guy collecting his son who he hadnt seen for 15 years!!!

I have nooo idea what the bear sign means - am guessing it means "yes, by Jove, I am entirely mistaken, and I bow to your far superior wisdom and emotional intelligence"...or something like that.
