Just wondered really, if you could just pass on one little nugget of wisdom to yourself at 16, what would it be?

Inspired by a trending topic on Twitter just in case any of you saw it.

You'll never regret NOT sleeping with someone.

OriginalPoster · 20/08/2011 09:28

Buy some facial hair remover and use it now.

MorelliOrRanger · 20/08/2011 09:36

Kiss Neil when you have the opportunity - else it will never be repeated as he left school :(

Oh yeh and stay away from the bastard with the moustache as he'll be a rebound partner and he won't be very nice to you.

Buy a some GHDs the minute they are for sale! Straight hair will change your life!!

Don't let being dumped fuck up your A-levels, you can easily get 3 As especially if you choose sensible ones instead of german and biology!

Take the student loan each year and use it to put a deposit on a house, keep said house because it'll be your pension!

Don't worry that you're the only single one amongst your friends in your early twenties - Mr Right is only a few years away and it'll all be very quick!

Ignore your Mum and take that Saturday job in Kensington Market. It will be so much more fun than the one in Woolworths.

pigletmania · 20/08/2011 10:05

For me its, knuckle down at school, try your best, revise for your exams, not go out with friends, and concentrate in lessons not look out the window writing I love Patrick Swayze on your school books Grin. If only I did those things I would have achieved my dream of becoming a pilot

Lara2 · 20/08/2011 10:20

Ditch the fuckwit boyfriend, work harder on your A levels, follow your own path - not what your parents want/think you should do, you are thin and beautiful (size 10) have more confidence, you don't need a boyfriend,be a bit more of a rebel, in 5 years you will meet the man of yor dreams - recognise him and don't fuck it up this time!!!!

crazycatlady · 20/08/2011 10:25

Your future husband will be the first guy you crack eyes on when you arrive at university. Don't ignore him and go chasing plonker after plonker for three years.

If you take a science subject at A level it will lead you to some incredibly cool career options. Without it you will flail about with a hopeless arts degree and a soulless corporate-whore career you HATE until you wake up aged 32 and decide to change your life.

Credit cards are not cool. Just say no.

maypole1 · 20/08/2011 13:18

Not to be sad that your mother never loved you but your pain will Eventually give you strength.

And don't listen to your boyfriend how ever much he begs you to have a baby he's not going to stick around and support you.
