my can of Pepsi that I was saving as a treat.

It's only been in the fridge since Sunday evening, and I just went to get it.

I know it was him as DH has been away and it was there this morning.

Angry

I think to a 23 year old, three days means it's been abandoned. It's the way of the young - you have to be quick or your Pepsi buys the farm.Sorry.

Mowiol · 17/11/2010 14:55

LOL - just sounds so very familiar.

We hide stuff here - like DHs nice cold bottle of beer that he has been looking forward to after long day/gardening etc.

I put all the stuff like pop and treats (if it needs to be in the fridge) in the salad drawer under bags of veg. Wink

never failed me yet.

GlynistheMenace · 17/11/2010 15:03

yup, he raids the LOs treats as well, he even ventures into the salad drawer Shock

any new hiding places?

Garage?

Cupboard where you keep cleaning supplies?

Under your bed? - fizzy drinks special offer packs fit nicely

Washing machine - obviously not when you're using it? (not done it myself mind??)

In the attic?

Up the chimney if you have one?

mamadiva · 17/11/2010 15:11

You think that's bad my 25YO partner and father to my child does this :o

OP I thought you actually meant you were annoyed your son has gotten drunk... was going to say YABU but no you are not LOL.

GlynistheMenace · 17/11/2010 15:12

see he is quite well house trained as in he has to use the washing machine himself, and having the 3yr old about it's part of the drill to check it at regular intervals...but the cleaning cupboard idea i like Grin

GlynistheMenace · 17/11/2010 15:14

mamadiva

i did that on purpose, to create an air of illusion in order to raise some sort of interest in my otherwise rather dull afternoon Wink

an appropriate poetry moment:

THIS IS JUST TO SAY, by William Carlos Williams

This is just to say
I have eaten
the plums
that were in
the icebox
and which
you were probably
saving
for breakfast

Forgive me
they were delicious
so sweet
and so cold

GlynistheMenace · 17/11/2010 15:46

dementedma is there a line in that poem which mentions a whole tube of Primula Cheese Spread too?

Hmm

I bought a large jar of nutella (for DHs 'breakfast' sandwich) and DSS, seeing that there was nutella in abundance (as I forgot to hide it) upped his usual 1 inch layer to a 3 inch layer in his sarnies this morning.

A good hiding place? for him the bathroom cabinet has he never thinks to look in there for soap or toothpaste so it should be safe.
