Why does their seem to be so much bitching and jealousy! ? Scathing destructive criticism . Why does this bitterness always happen when something good haPpens to a person then someone jumps on them to knock them down?

You are being a bit vague

DirtyMartini · 17/11/2010 14:26

???

PamelaFlitton · 17/11/2010 14:27

If this is about that wedding then shut up

notnowbernard · 17/11/2010 14:27

Oh God, it's not about the Royal wedding is it?

diddl · 17/11/2010 14:27

Like they´re going to care.

discobeaver · 17/11/2010 14:29

I agree - Wagner to win!

BonniePrinceBilly · 17/11/2010 14:30

OP you're reeking of patchouli oil and peace signs. Right on man!

pagwatch · 17/11/2010 14:30

I agree Op. But then I am all about the love

electra · 17/11/2010 14:31

Some people don't support the monarchy. I have nothing against them but I find it extremely irritating when people talk endlessly about them and say they are 'proud' to have a monarchy. It's all rather cringeworthy imo. I'll be as interested as I would be in any other celeb affair and that's it.

Thingumy · 17/11/2010 14:32

I agree with Pamela.

I don't know, society has gone down the pan.

I remember the days when we would all join hands and offer up a rousing chorus of 'I'd Like To Teach The World To Sing' on such occasions.

NetworkGuy · 17/11/2010 14:33

If it happens to be about the wedding, good luck to them (but shame the media have to 'over think' why this venue might be bad, and that venue worse).

When I heard all the papers had splashed their front pages apart from The Independent I felt good for them, that they didn't "follow the pack".

Not that I buy any newspaper on a regular basis anyway, you understand. Only knew about the fact from what was on radio this lunchtime.

discobeaver · 17/11/2010 14:34

Is that a dig at Wagner, kurrikurri? :o

Rachyandmeg · 17/11/2010 14:37

Yes it is partly to do with will and kates wedding and also made me think there's so much criticism and put downs of people who have got some good news in general. Is it because people have such miserable lives they feel the need to do this to make themselves feel better?

YANBU... 'If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all' obviously went by the wayside yesterday. Then again, women bitching because another woman is having a bit of luck and happiness is not unusual. So much for sisterhood...

Rachyandmeg · 17/11/2010 14:44

Zip it :)

Chil - Yes I agree it can be women but also men too. Families attack one another too shame it is more usual than unusual really ! Its wrong way round x
