She really is.

I have waited so long to get married and we're finally doing the deed pretty soon (am not disclosing details in case you lot all turn up Wink).

Anyway she's mad. She insists on having the breakfast cereal in tuppaware and her husband is a total nazi.

AIBU to be worried about what she'll be like when I'm married?

Are you sure?

I thought you MIL had passed?

Will I be expected to wear hats. I look awfully silly in them and frankly I never know which fork to use.

Food really won't be an issue or indeed a necessity soon, my dear.

JoBettany · 16/11/2010 20:32

I think you mean 'Granny'!

OTTMummA · 16/11/2010 20:33

Thats not suprising considering you don't know who your actual MIL is.
EPIC FAIL

Mumcentreplus · 16/11/2010 20:41

If you don't live with the woman.. don't give a shit...tis my motto Grin

lorelilee · 16/11/2010 20:45

I think your biggest concern about your MIL is that you will be compared (mostly unfavourably) to her for the rest of your days

Mumcentreplus · 16/11/2010 20:52

Surely that depends on cooking skills and fellatio? Grin

SuePurblybiltByElves · 16/11/2010 20:56

Isn't your mum the gum-chewing lady?

Ask Wills to do you a diagram lovely, I think you mean your Grand-MIL. Your MIL is not going to trouble you overmuch.

AmazingBouncingFerret · 16/11/2010 21:01

Oh dear. Didnt really think this through did you. Grin

Mumcentreplus · 16/11/2010 21:09

Hmmm..maybe you could also be a Lizardy Monsta...men tend to be attracted to women like their mothers! Grin

MissKateMiddleton · 16/11/2010 21:11

Oyy the horse faced one doesn't count as my MiL. It skips a generation within quality families as the bloodline is so precise we are genetically our mothers and our siblings too.
