Bet it's so he can play 'Farmville' etc.

May not even be his page, but may be an extra page set up so obtain more neighbours and move up levels.

My friend's cat has a page for this reason.

Grin @ your friend's cat

Yes my friends cat has a page too, for Farmville related nonsense. Confused

booyhoo · 16/11/2010 12:51

My dog has a page, set up by DH for a spare poker account.

one of my RL friends has a 4yo DS who has just asked if he can have his own FB account. Seeing as how he can't write many words, she finds this quite amusing!

I would imagine in his case it's because his older sibs all have a FB account, and he wants to be like them.

Seona1973 · 16/11/2010 13:07

mine have it for cafe world, farmville and the other games on there e.g. mindjolt games

nocake · 16/11/2010 13:23

The FB T&Cs say you have to be 13 to have an account. TBH it's not a safe place for a 6 year old.

booyhoo · 16/11/2010 13:30

i thought that too nocake. and this boy has 'friend's that are adults but i suppose if it is just his mum using it for farmville or whatever then he wont see any of that.

I know someone who set one up for a just turned 2 year old, so that the toddler could play Farmville etc, as he kept wanting to play on his mum's. Total use of computer as a babysitter in my opinion.
