To have done a bit of sick in my mouth when I saw this?

I walked into the lounge earlier and my DH and and my dog were on the sofa. The dog looked like he was chewing something. "What's he eating?" I asked DH. "Nothing" replied DH, but he looked shifty when he said it. So I pressed a little bit and then DH said, sheepishly "It's a bit of sleep". When I asked for clarification, it turns out then my DH collects the crusty eye bits from around my dogs eye hair, and then feeds it to him. And he has been doing this for YEARS. Because the dog likes it, apparently.

This must satisfy the "unreasonable behaviour" grounds, right?

It's clearly consensual between your DH and the dog, so let them get on with it.

RoobyMurray · 14/11/2010 23:33

omg that's disgusting!
Shock

my cat does NOT eat my ear wax ever.

Thingumy · 14/11/2010 23:34

hahahaha

Joolyjoolyjoo · 14/11/2010 23:35

Well, my dogs eat their own (and each others) poo if I don't pick it up fast enough. THen sometimes just for added effect they vom it back up

So your dog eating his own groogles isn't really that bad- remember these are animals that lick their own ass, lovingly!

MrsNonSmoker · 14/11/2010 23:36

What BelfastBloke said. Enjoyed the post though. [grin}

MrsNonSmoker · 14/11/2010 23:36

Sorry, my grin failed.

ClaireDeLoon · 14/11/2010 23:37

Yes Rooby but does the cat eat it's own ear wax?

If the dog is happy fair enough.

However dog on sofa too much for me. I love dogs, grew up in the sort of daft family that has too many. But I don't like them on the furniture.

twoboots · 14/11/2010 23:37

pmsl

its odd that you never noicd this clearly deviant behaviour before.

my dog will eat the contents of the cat litter tray if I'm not quick enough in clearing it out.

Saves me a job...

Joolyjoolyjoo · 14/11/2010 23:44

Thingumy- my dog used to do this with the cat litter tray too. So I bought one of those ones with the cover to foil him. Came home next day to find him stoating about the hall with the whole litter box contraption on his head!

nannylocal · 15/11/2010 00:00

Once had a dog eat the entire contents of a potty (and it was FULL!),had taken the child to get wiped up, came back to empty it and it had been licked clean!

Could never love the dog the same after that!

Desiderata · 15/11/2010 00:05

I know a pug. He's got nothing going for him. He's ugly, randy, and he eats shit.

He recently belched in my face, and I was not pleased.

Thingumy · 15/11/2010 00:05

hahahaha jooly

My dog is a 'orrible dirty little mutt.

HystericalMe · 15/11/2010 00:06
