My current hormone related woes? Grin

As a teen with extremely erratic periods, I was told by the consultant that having a baby would make me more regular.

Two kids later and yes, I am regular. For two weeks out of every five I:
-Look like a zombie and face kind enquiries from colleagues, "you're very pale", etc.
-Have skin like an extra from a clearasil ad (I NEVER had spots as an actual teenager)
-Have cramps and other symptoms reminiscent of a bad bout of gastro-enteritis I had once.
-Am a narky, exhausted witch

And that's 40% of my life. Bloody kids. WIBU to punish them by complaining of "women's trouble" when they start bringing home boyfriends/girlfriends.

Have you tried the minipill or the other Pill? I thought that they stabilised some people.

I'd suggest going back to your doctor for more advice. Have they ruled out PCOS for example? And, because a lot of those symptoms could be linked to excess insulin production, try a 'Low GI Diet'
