To hide upstairs in bed whilst DP looks after the kids this evening

DP's just gone to fetch the DSses. I'm totally shattered this week, to the point I fell asleep twice at work today.

I've made their beds and put the heating on and I went for a nap when he went out. It's nice here, quiet and warm. AIBU to stay here all evening? No children, no DP.... just me and the cat?

I know that feeling. I was in bed at 8pm last night. DH was out and kids in bed. I just couldn't see any point in staying up. I feel so much better today for it. So I say just do it

YANBU - I'm sure DP will cope :-)

NU at all. My husband has just come home from work. I am on mat leave. But I have already handed him feeding and messy "teething nappy" changing duties, while I enjoy a nice bottle glass of wine.

Lol thanks... I got up and gave them a cuddle when they got in, both of them were shattered from a busy week and went straight to bed so I'm back in bed too! Win win all round!
