to find my lovely wife's tissue habit a bit minging

So, my lovely wife has this habit with tissues. Used tissues that is or ones that "still have some space on them" as she says. They find their way everywhere - it started off under the pillows and up the sleeves but there has been an unwelcome development. With late pregnancy a sizeable cleavage has emerged - hey presto a perfect new storage site. Back me up ladies, surely this is over the line - a bit too minging, isn't it?

Are you my DH?

MimsyRogers · 11/11/2010 21:55

so you ever leave the toilet seat up?
miss a bit with your pee?
fart in bed?
leave your socks all over the house?
fiddle with your nuts whilst watching tv?
etc?
if not then YANBU

QuintessentialShadows · 11/11/2010 21:55

she is telling you her boobs are OFF LIMITS.
Wink

EmmalinaC · 11/11/2010 21:55

Sorry. I'm with your wife on this one. Grin

maktaitai · 11/11/2010 21:56

Ergh that does sound a bit grim. Buy her some lovely handkerchiefs?

LaWeaselMys · 11/11/2010 21:56

If so, I agree with your DH... Sorry!

ClaireDeLoon · 11/11/2010 21:56

I'm not married to my DP otherwise I'd be posting what ghouls did.

Rosedee · 11/11/2010 21:57

I used to keep biscuit crumbs down my pregnancy cleavage.

gobbledegoop · 11/11/2010 21:58

YANBU that is minging!

LoveBeingAMummy · 11/11/2010 21:58

Not best placed to answer this one as I am guilty. My dh hates it too if that helps.

MrsBuble · 11/11/2010 21:59

YABU she (and I) are just being economical.

NiceBloke · 11/11/2010 21:59

Mimsy, guilty on nearly all charges - I think the toilet seat is the only one of those which I have a perfect record on. And she's much more guilty of the third charge.

It could be worse. She could leave them on the carpet on her side of the bed .

StuckinTheMiddlewithYou · 11/11/2010 22:00

Find some yacky habit that you have (we all have them) and promise to give it up if she starts binning her tissues after one use.

Brasso4 · 11/11/2010 22:01

Me too, DH hates my tissue habits. I lay the blame squarely at the door of my mother.

Nikna · 11/11/2010 22:02

My Dh leaves piles of tissues that "still have some space on them" where ever he empties his pockets. ie; all over the bedroom. Saving them for reuse. BIN THEM!

AntonDuBurk · 11/11/2010 22:02

Hassled. Are you me? Does our DH also leave his used tissues in our car?

Hassled · 11/11/2010 22:03

He does indeed :o. And sometimes he blows his nose while I am eating.

NotShortImFunSized · 11/11/2010 22:03

Another guilty one here. I agree she is just being economical Grin

YABU sorry!

Meow75 · 11/11/2010 22:03

Recommendations are currently that a clean tissue is used to blow one's nose.

And handkerchieves are gross. Too put snotty hankies in your pocket or up your sleeve is gross.

Acinonyx · 11/11/2010 22:03

My dh complains about this too Blush

NiceBloke · 11/11/2010 22:04

Seems like a good 50% or more of you guys admit to this. OK, I'll let her off. I certainly am not short of the odd unappealing habit myself.

Mumcentreplus · 11/11/2010 22:20

MaMoTTaT · 11/11/2010 22:22

I do this too Blush (thankfully no-one to complain to me about it Grin)
