To Wonder Why I Bothered With TPS

I am still getting loads of cold calls. Six so far this morning, it is driving me up the wall. I have specifically requested companies I have dealings with not to call me either. Specifically asked each of them when they do call.

When they call and I ask them not to call again they get snippy back. At this rate I am either going to spend all day answering the phone to them or a lot of time on the TPS website reporting them.

It can take a while to kick in and everys o often you have to phone to re-register, but eventually it will work.

I've been with them almost 3 years that's why its annoying me.

Caller display. I'm with TPS which seems to be OK for calls of UK origin. But I get quite a lot from overseas that start 'click' 'pause' and then someone far, far away pronouncing my name wrong. These come up 'Unavailable International' on caller display so I don't answer them any more.

I still get them daily as well. Waste of time for me

The TPS only covers UK based callers. If a call centre from outwith the UK calls, there's nothing that can be done about it.

I recommend caller ID - they come up as INTERNATIONAL on my phone.

Also, if you have a baby and the Bounty woman comes round with the freebies, give her a false number otherwise you'll be inundated with these calls... Hmm
