to think my yoga teache rmade a racist comment?

I am not normally a politically correct person but I was quite taken aback by his comment in a yoga class today.

He was explaining how to do one of the squats and said " keep your back straigh and bottom in, I don't want to see a new orleans bottom" and stuck his butt out.

There was no one black in the group but I am not white and felt it was a bit close to the edge.

hmm - not sure.

a bit inappropriate I suppose but not offensive I wouldn't say. Black people DO tend to have sticky out bums - i'm rather envious

Yep, not really ok.

If you're not white (I'm assuming mixed race? correct me if I'm wrong) and you felt it wasn't OK then I think that's your answer.
