Wrong on so many levels surely?

RunAwayWife · 10/11/2010 20:29

I don't care how many children someone has as long as they pay for them themself and don't expect my taxes to do it Grin

One is one too many if you can not afford it.

This woman must be bloody tired though

encyclogirl · 10/11/2010 21:16

MaD, I'm not on there, but I read of the forum. Jinger is the one most to jump ship reckon. She's often caught rolling her eyes.

muggglewump · 10/11/2010 23:20

Velveeta isn't food, it's related to plastic and a weird shade of orange.
Yuck.
I did once buy it, I thought it might be like cheese. I was wrong, and also I was a bit iffy (malaria, I really had it).
It turns out it's horrid, like compressed plastic with the taste of rancid vomit.
I know, I vommed quite a few times.
Velveeta is a bad substance, but even so, who needs to cook?
Just eat fruit! Or even veg!

Gosh, would you think of it!

muminthemiddle · 10/11/2010 23:36

Although it's not for me I think good luck to them.

muggglewump · 10/11/2010 23:37

They eat crap, no fruit or veg, none.
I'm honestly freaked out by the bad diet, over anything else.
No fruit.

I sometimes buy packaged food.
I buy tinned pineapple.
I like mango and raisins.

Ugh, but if 'Daddy', likes it, then fine to eat nasty old shit.

StayingDavidTennantsGirl · 11/11/2010 08:54

What is TWOP, please?

BreastmilkDoesAFabLatte · 11/11/2010 09:00

Ooops. Meant to link more elegantly.

Another thought, though: maybe they could do a MN-meets-the-Duggars cookery special on 19 Kids and Counting? TLC could fly a group of us out to Arkansas. Perhaps with yummy Jamie Oliver as a man who cooks. Maybe he'd defraud Jana though...

HowsTheSerenity · 11/11/2010 09:46

Oh yeah, I would love to be part of that. I was watching a clip last night and they made chic-etti. SOme random chicken cheese pasta thing. I dont even think the chicken was real.

The girls are not allowed to stay home alone but the boys are, and they are not taught any household maintenence but the boys are. I wonder if they vote the way Daddy says too?

Twit · 11/11/2010 10:02

I thought I saw them start a veggie patch when they first moved into their big house. (shrugs)
I've clearly missed alot, the last I saw Josh and wotsername had been for a scan and found out on tv (naturally) that they were having a girl. He seemed a bit put out tbh.
I agree that Josh is an arse, he seems to be trying a bit harder to convert us all. What is with his wife too? And the dvd explaining sex before they got married?
(ah well each to their own)

I feel bad for the girls. Can I join the Free Jinger movement?
And what happened to the prem one I've read about here, is she ok?

HowsTheSerenity · 11/11/2010 14:06

Now that would be funny. I want to watch the episode with the sex guide (in a non pervy way I promise). Anyone know which one it is?

BreastmilkDoesAFabLatte · 11/11/2010 15:09

The sex guide... that was hours before Josh and Anna's wedding on 'A very Duggar wedding'. How was he supposed to read it all before that evening? Has anyone read the book he was given?

Josie the prem baby... it has been very, very difficult and I suspect the cameras have glssed over a lot. She's had real bowel problems and seems not really to have grown or developed much at all. Does anyone know if she's still on oxygen? Last time I saw, she was. She's only a month younger than my DD, and the difference between them makes me want to cry. I worry for her, I do.

Free Jinger is here...

StayingDavidTennantsGirl · 11/11/2010 15:41

Another Duggar grandbaby is on the way - it was announced in America on the Today programme.

OneTwoBuckleMyShoe · 11/11/2010 17:13

According to the article on the Today website they claim Josie is "thriving".

BreastmilkDoesAFabLatte · 11/11/2010 18:43

Aw, and josh and Anna had a mc earlier this year.

IlanaK · 11/11/2010 18:57

Those who have mentioned books: Razing Ruth and No Longer Quivering, I can't find them on Amazon. Are those the exact titles?

BreastmilkDoesAFabLatte · 11/11/2010 21:40

They're blogs, not books. Linked just earlier in the thread...

StayingDavidTennantsGirl · 11/11/2010 22:21

No Longer Quivering and Razing Ruth - hope that helps, Ilana.

fatlazymummy · 12/11/2010 06:59

I have been reading these blogs and some of the links. Just shocking beyond belief. Some of these people are no better than the 'people' who murdered baby Peter.
[I'm not accusing the Duggars or Bates of using these methods].It's just really scary to see how religious beliefs can so easily be twisted into abuse.

MaDuggar · 12/11/2010 07:41

JimBobs sex advice to Josh before his wedding was hilarious! He said its a bit like lego Grin

I wonder if Josh & Anna will continue with M names?

MaDuggar · 12/11/2010 07:47

Ha ha I cant even begin to imagine what he meant!

BreastmilkDoesAFabLatte · 12/11/2010 09:17

But I think they do use those methods. The Duggars have talked about blanket training, certainly...

MaDuggar · 12/11/2010 11:00

If you look at how Jackson/Johannah & the younger ones behave, I think they abandoned the blanket training ....
