Wrong on so many levels surely?

I clearly know nothing, what is blanket training?
So has Josh and (stil cannot recall her name) had the baby yet or was that the one they mc'd?
Am sooo behind clearly, how come? Where are they?

I'm sure there was a dvd as well, cos they wouldn't let us watch it. Jimbob said stuff about putting the woman first I think.

Twit · 12/11/2010 12:10

ah, I've just re-read.
Anna. They had the baby girl I'm thinking of then. And are pg again?
Lovely.

BreastmilkDoesAFabLatte · 12/11/2010 15:19

Razing Ruth explains the blanket training. Basically, you plonk a toddler on a towel and hit them whenever they try and crawl off. It's supposed to instill godly values of obedience and self-control.

But yes, take your point about Johannah, who seems unable ever to sit still. They've not broken her yet...

WassaAxolotl · 12/11/2010 15:34

That's interesting. In past discussions on other forums, people have praised their cooking to me.

Twit · 12/11/2010 15:34
Shock I'm guessing that if they did stop it was around the time they started doing tv
lollypoplady · 12/11/2010 17:02

It suits them but is clearly not for everyone. They seem happy & can support themselves,so where's the problem?

MaDuggar · 12/11/2010 17:05

Joy eats partially hydrated Super noodles for breakfast.

MaDuggar · 12/11/2010 17:05

Wassa - seriously? What good things were said about their food/cooking?

MaDuggar · 12/11/2010 17:07

Twit, they had MacKynzie, who is now 13 montsh old, then lost a baby this last summer and are now expecting again June 2011.

WassaAxolotl · 12/11/2010 17:35

That they always ate home-cooked food. Some kind of stew recipe nicknamed Tater Tots?

PosieComeHereMyPreciousParker · 12/11/2010 17:41

Terrible, who can look after 18 kids? Seriously people that have children to either look after the parents or use other children to raise them are selfsih.

MaDuggar · 12/11/2010 19:26

Grin @ Wassa

HowsTheSerenity · 14/11/2010 21:24

So am working my way through the episodes and I really want to know why Anna and Josh wear matching clothes?

PlumBumMum · 14/11/2010 21:30

Howstheserenity I seen that one thought it was hilarious

Maduggar I thought you were on 21 now, maybe my mistake

Purplebuns · 15/11/2010 21:32

How are you all so up to date on episodes? I am watching it on home and health and it seems so behind and mixed up!
I am pretty sure the Duggars abhor violence and aggression so would they really hit the children if they left the mat?

jellybeans · 15/11/2010 21:52

I personally think each to their own. The Duggars seem lovely and the kids are so nice. I have 5 DC and it is very hard but I love it. I don't want more though. It is already hard to give them all what they need and it is chaos at times so how they cope it beyond me, hats off to them!!
