And not the spellings that ds got a few weeks ago and got comepletely right the first time. And can use correctly in writing when at home, as decides to write some plan of world domination or other.

Seriously. I questioned it when he got the days of the week again last week. ANd this week he has the same spellings that he had split betweeen 2 different lists the two preceeding weeks. He can spell all the words. I have just tested him. What exactly is the point? he is already complaining that spellings are boring. not surprised really.
Is there a point to this that is not being shared?

Would ibu to speak to the teacher again and write a note in his spelling book for the person who is doing the spellings with them?

Are the spelling list the same for all the class. It will take some of the children a few goes to get them right.

( Hope spelling is ok in post , I was one of the kids who would of needed several attempts.)

I needed more then several attempts. As i understand it they are done individually and are aimed at the speed of the child. Which tbh is why i am so surprised. the teacher also said that he souldnt be getting the same spellings when i spoke to her about it the first time. Hence the frustration.
