I thought it funny. That angle had never crossed my mind before so it's funny to me because of it's originality.

I also quite like the idea of being grouped with fit pole dancers (I'm a fat knacker).

Actually this is step up or two from the Jeremy kyle/sofa image surely.I mean at least they are working?

begonyabampot · 08/11/2010 20:07

jesus, it only reflects badly on the guy wearing it - not single mums or pole dancers.

TrillianAstra · 08/11/2010 20:16

The single mum in Independence Day was a pole dancer. She saved a load of people and was kick-ass with a giant truck, and then she married Will Smith.

QueenGigantaurofMnet · 08/11/2010 20:19

loving your logic there Trills Grin

TrillianAstra · 08/11/2010 20:23

Do I have logic? I was just reminiscing about a film that I love - no implications at all...

QueenGigantaurofMnet · 08/11/2010 20:45

oh. i thought you were saying it is good to be a single mother that lapdances as it means you could run down aliens.

i am disapointed.

cupcakesandbunting · 08/11/2010 21:12

QueenGigantaur you are not "seriously fat". You are gorgeous.

I'm not lesbo for you, btw Wink

TrillianAstra · 08/11/2010 21:32

I don't thinks he personally ran down aliens, but she helped mop up people in the aftermath - including the president's wife :)

bellastella · 08/11/2010 21:38

This t-shirt doesn't doesn't give me any feelings really as it's a pretty crap joke to start with.
Years ago I bought one for my new baby that had 'MOTHER SUCKER' written on it. I loved it but it did provoke a few reactions...

PinkIceQueen · 08/11/2010 21:44

I think it's mildly amusing, but I would avoid any bloke wearing it like the plague - good dickhead indicator if you ask me :D

BoffinMum · 09/11/2010 07:47

I worked in an IT research unit for a bit with a lot of blokes of a certain age, and their t-shirts were ace.

My favourite was:

"So many kittens, so few recipes". Grin

I would wear that pole dance college girl to the Big Protest in London tomorrow if I was well enough to go. That would get on the news.

BoffinMum · 09/11/2010 07:50

Florence Cameron won't be pole dancing or bog cleaning when she goes to Oxford/Bristol, I'll bet. She might work in some politico's office stuffing envelopes for a bit in the name of work, but that will be it.

BigHairyLeggedTurkey · 09/11/2010 08:13

cupcakesandbunting Agreed. QueenGigantaur is GORGOUS! Not seriously fat.

And I'd pay to see her pole dance...Grin

Seriously though, blokes that wear it are showing they're morons, and will probably never pull in it.

I used to have a T-shirt with Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty across my boobs. Loved it!

TrillianAstra · 09/11/2010 08:43

I have techy guys with t-shirts too - but more of the pictures (BoffinMum did you know xkcd do t-shirts?) and less of the misogyny.

FloCam will go to Durham, if we are being properly stereotypical about it.

EndoTheRoad · 09/11/2010 09:43

YANBU, OP.

There's something just a tad wrong with wanting to have that splayed across your chest.

BoffinMum · 09/11/2010 09:57

Love those t-shirts! Will order code compiling one!
